Maybe this is the first time you tried to post on the ACCCF message board and got frustrated.  I apologize that I do not have the time and ability to modify the program of the message board. So, there are a couple of problems you might have when you post.

Q: I got some "CGI ERROR" message that I could not reply to somebody else's post.

A: The message board has a word limit on every thread of the message.  If your message exceed the limit, especially in replying messages, you might have this problem.  Try to start a new thread.

Q: Some "internal errors" keep showing up and it turns out I made multiple posts on the board!!

A: Remember to refresh the page of message board before you make another attempt. Usually your words are already there.  If you keep trying, the stupid "internal error" will keep showing up and it looks like there is a broken record that keeps repeating the same words. So, refresh the page before post the same stuff again.

Q: How to post a hyperlink of a website or share a picture on the message board?

A: Only the one starts a new thread can check on the box "using html" to post a hyperlink to a website or post a link to a picture.  Since there is no check box when you reply a post, simply make it a regular text for your pictures or websites.  People can always do the copy-and-paste thing if they are interested.

For posting a hyperlink to a website or a picture:

First of all, the URL of the website or the picture has to be valid.  Second, there is also a word limit on line to post a hyperlink.  It turns out that if your html code exceeds "one line," the hyperlink of website or the picture will not show properly as expected. Therefore, try to fit it in one line for the html code.

There might be a problem to share a website because you can not do anything to shrink the length of the URL. There are some websites providing the service to shrink the long, long URLs, i.e. urlSNIP, notlong Free Shorter URL, etc. Personally I have never tried it before but I heard that it worked. You can always find more websites like these simply by a google search.

The html code for posting a hyperlink to a website will be: <a href="http://.....">name of the link</a> Just put the URL address between the quotation marks, i.e. http://www.acccf.org, and the name of the link.  Then, it will show up like this,

name of the link

The html code for posting a picture will be: <img src="http://...*.jpg"> Just put the URL address of the picture between the quotation marks, i.e. http://www.redcoat.net/pics/answer.gif, and then it will show up like this,
