To remain an active member of AED

I. Maintaining an "Active" Status

A. Involvement - As an active member of AED, attendance of at least three meetings per semester is required, attendance of one social, one fundraiser, elections and 5 hours of volunteer service within AED.
B.Dues - $15.00 per semester

II. Why should I remain active in AED once I pledge?


A. Information and Fun - We will continue to have a variety of speakers in the coming semesters as well as establishing a community of pre-med students to associate with on a regular basis.
B. The AED List - AED plans to compile a list of active members each semester to send to all Texas medical school's admissions offices; thus, remaining active can appear on your resume.
