To become a member of AED

      I. Qualifications

        A. Grade Point Average
        1. Overall, 3.2
        2. Science, 3.2
        B. Completed Application
        C. Dues
        1. National: $50, one-time lifetime fee
        2. Local: $40, including T-shirt
        3. Total: $90, due with completed application (Note: No Refunds)
        D. Transcript - Obtain an unofficial transcript from the Registrar's office and turn it in with your completed application
        E. Hours - 45 semester hours must have been completed by the end of the semester to join the national chapter

      II. Membership Requirements

      The following are membership requirements which must be completed in order to be initiated into Alpha Epsilon Delta. No exceptions.

        A. Attendance
        1. Attendance at all meetings, including the banquet and Elections, is required and will be taken by way of an attendance sheet each meeting.
        2. One absence is permitted each semester. If two absences are taken, provisions will be made to allow you to make up the second (usually attendance at a symposium). Three absences is never permitted.
        3. Attendance at the camping trip, one fundraiser, two socials, and elections is required. A fundraiser can serve as a make-up social.
        B. Volunteer Work
        1. You must perform at least 15 hours of volunteer service during the semester.
        2. Eight of these hours must be achieved by participating in AED volunteer activities
        3. Johnny Mai , the volunteer coordinator, will be organizing the volunteer activities.
