Corporate Involvement

AIChE is very dedicated to providing opportunities for students to meet with and learn about many different companies. We have at least four general meetings every semester, all with excellent attendance, in which companies present at the end and students have a chance to ask questions. We also have Lunch N' Learns throughout the semesters to provide companies a more intimate setting to present about their company and hiring opportunities.

Every semester, AIChE has a McKetta's Picnic in honor of Dr. John J. McKetta, a former professor, dean, and major beneficiary to the department of Chemical Engineering. McKetta's Picnic always has a very good turnout of students, some faculty, and sometimes Dr. McKetta himself. It is filled with grilled fajitas, fun games, and doorprizes, and it is a great opportunity for company partners to talk with students in a fun, informal atmosphere.
