Some key understandings among the ICJB members.

1. Keep each other informed: We'll consult and keep each other informed about planned activities, media queries where time permits and requirement exists, and responses from state or corporation.
2. "Bhopal survivors speak for themselves": Survivors and/or their appointees will be the only persons who engage in discussions/dialogue with Dow on the matter of Bhopal and its future.
3. All demands will be pushed as a package: Criminal liability, enviornmental contamination, compensation, rehabilitation (economic, medical).
4. ALL Bhopal activities in the US and India (except those expressly agreed upon in advance) will be done with the informed participation of coalition members and in the name of International Campaign for Justice in Bhopal. An ICJB letterhead with names of constituent members will be prepared and circulated shortly. All
public communications (media advisories, invitations, press releases) for India/US activities on Bhopal will go out in this name listing all constituent members.
5. Activities in other countries, such as the Raghu Rai photo exhibit tour in Europe, that require the participation, involvement or has taken the assistance of more than one coalition member will also be conducted in the name of the International Campaign for Justice in Bhopal.
6. Activities by ICJB members in countries other than India and US that do not require the participation/involvement of other coalition member(s) may be conducted in the name of the organisation
taking action. Kindly acknowledge the existence of the International Campaign for Justice in Bhopal in the press release, public material etc to convey that the Bhopal issue has the backing of a wide variety of
international organisations.
