Balaji's Corner:
Balaji Sampath was instrumental in expanding AID in the US and
is currently a Jeevan Saathi (AID fellow) in India. He played a
key role in developing the Hundred Block Plan spanning 1000 villages
in TN and Bihar. Balaji will share his experiences on collaborations
with TNSF, growth of AID Chennai, and other upcoming plans.

Keynote Speech (Public Event): Land reforms and their implications in Dalit and Adivasi struggles
Chennaiah has been working on the issues of land appropriation
and distribution among landless laborers, release and rehabilitation
of bonded labour and negotiation for minimum and equal wages by
founding the Andra Pradesh Vyavasaya Vruthidarula Union (APVUU).
He will talk about the land reforms and the impact of golobalization
on agricultural workers and dalits and APVUU s efforts to unite
the agricultural workers unions in India.
