CSH POLICIES of the AUSTIN CHAPTER ---------------------------------- (i) If a lot of people cant make it to the CSH, then instead of changing the meeting time, we find out if anyone is still interested in presenting any item inspite of the potentially lower turnout. If yes, then we go ahead, and if not, we cancel the CSH. (ii) If important decisions need to be taken (like approval of project or deciding to proceed with a fundraiser), they should require a quorum of atleast 6 people present at the meeting, and voting. (iii) If there is an event or any other reason that is directly related to AID (like a talk on some relevant issue, at the same time), then we can change the timing. This usually does not happen too often. (iv) We can have emergency meetings during the week if required, but not to replace the CSH. We can make decisions at such a meeting, but if someone is not able to attend, they must be able to email their votes and/or raise the issue again at the following CSH.
