" We had Rajender Singh over yesterday. We had two good programs. One was in Kasi Vidhyapeeth in Banaras. This was well attended bu the VC of the university, faculty and lawers. We also had some media coverage too. We will send the recording sometime. He talked about water misuse.
He later came to Mehdiganj. He talked to our activists and other people. He said how in the water conference in Mexico, Coca-cola sponsored food, but people had to buy water. He said that he has been misrepresented by Coca-cola in Rajasthan. He condemned the company and said that he is part of the campaign against the plant there.
He also suggested that we take up some water conservation work without depending on the govt. We liked the idea and talked about water harvesting or reviving the unused talabs here. We will seriously think about it. "
