Association for India's Development (AID) - Austin Chapter has been pursuing this successful scheme of  "HEB Grocery Cards" to raise funds for it's development projects in India

1. What are HEB Grocery Cards?

HEB Grocery Cards are like hard cash. You can purchase them in denominations of $50 and $100 depending on your grocery needs. They are valid for 1 year from date of purchase and are accepted at all Austin HEB & Central Market locations. HEB will donate 3-4% of card's worth to AID which will be used to support social and developmental projects in India. You will still be able to make groceries of $50 with $50 card and for $100 with $100 card. That means you are not paying any extra.

2. Why should I use these against Cash/ Credit Card/ Cheque ?

By using these cards, you are able to shop for the exact worth of the card and at the same time helping in the fund raising efforts of AID, Austin and in turn helping the people who need your help and support back in India.

3. Will it cost me anything ?

Not a penny above the price of the card. All you need to do is present the card at the HEB Counter. Your receipt will indicate your balance on the card. Once you have used up all the money destroy the card and place new orders.

4. Why is AID (Austin) doing this ?

AID is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable, non-profit organization that supports a wide variety of social and developmental projects in India. All proceeds will be directed to NGOs working in India.
