..»..».. In order to sign up to the A.L.A.S. Mailing List, you first have to make sure you will be sendig the e-mail from YOUR own account. In other words, make sure your e-mail is set up with the account that you will be using to check the A.L.A.S. messages.
If you have already made sure of that, then you may move to the next step:
Click on the address below...You should be getting a confirmation e-mail message within 10 minutes. If this doesn't happen, send me a message letting me know about it, I may be able to assist you.listproc@mcfeeley.cc.utexas.edu
When the message window appears, you must type the following:
subscribe alas name last-name
Needless to say, you must substitute name with your name and last-name with your last name.
****DO NOT PUT ANYTHING ON THE "SUBJECT:" LINE****
Click the "SEND" button and click "OK" to leave the message with "(no subject)" if prompted to do so.
Once you get your confirmation message, or if you are done with this page, click on the "BACK" Button of your web browser to go back to the ALAS page.
If you ever need to "unsubscribe" all you have to do is
replace the subscribe part of the message with
unsubscribe. That's ALL!
