• If you are driving separately, drive to Zilker Park, park in the main parking lot, then walk left along the path until you find a bunch of kayaks!
• You will earn 1 social point for attending, but can also earn an extra point by bringing a freshman along!

• Micah Food Pantry 6 wants volunteers to organize and pack food! Meet in front of SSB at 8:50am on Oct. 8 and we will go over there together. Sign up on google docs!

• Project 2012 is the biggest service event of the year at UT! If you want to become a team lead and work on a site attend one of these info sessions: 9/28 @ JGB 2.324 or 10/4, 11/9, 11/17 @ UTC 4.110. Visit utproject.org for more info!

2. IM Sports Update:

•First soccer game is Tuesday 9/27 at 9pm.

Meet up by 8:30 wearing a dark grey tshirt at IM Field 7. Bring a soccer ball and gloves if you have any!

•Second football game is Thursday 9/29 at 6pm. Meet up at 5:30 to practice on IM Field 3! Wear your dark gray shirt.

You MUST attend the MANDATORY Information Meeting on Wednesday October 26, 2011 from 5:00 - 5:30 PM. There is a ALDPES general meeting that day at 6:00 PM so we can walk from the information meeting to the ALDPES one together Even though you are signing up from a 3 hour shift, you will have a break between 7:15 - 7:45

3. CANCELLATION POLICY • If you are signed up but can no longer make it, YOU must find a replacement - No point penalty • If not, you will lose as many points as you would’ve earned • Let us know ASAP if you can’t make it • You cannot cancel through the online sign-ups so if you would like to cancel then please email us!

 

4. FORTY ACRES FEST •Forty Acres Fest Committee organizes the annual festival that features amazing entertainment and booths by 200+ on-campus student organizations. We are currently accepting applications for our 2011-2012 planning committee. A copy of the application can be found at www.utsec.org/faf. We are holding an information session on Tues.
