Risk Management Training

As many of you know, risk management is a state mandated law for all student organizations and we are required to train all of our members in order to maintain our status as a registered student organization. For this reason, we are requiring all members (new and old) who wish to be active this semester to complete risk management training.

What does that mean?

If you are going to be active, thinking about being active, considering being active, YOU MUST COMPLETE RISK MANAGEMENT TRAINING!

If this sounds like you, here are your ONLY options:

1. Attend the training session and turn in attendence slip:

We will present the risk management training at the next general meeting, Wednesday, March 23rd, 6 PM in Welch 1.308. Your attendance slip at that meeting will count towards your attendance point as well as your risk management requirement. Please look over the attached handout before the meeting.

2. Watch the video below, read the handout, and email ALDPES:

If you cannot attend that meeting, you can watch a youtube video of the presentation (below) and read the attached handout (scroll down to download the handout).

Copy the following quote into an email and send it separately to utaldpes@gmail.com: "I ________________ member of ALPES, hearby certify that I watched the risk management video in its entirety. My UTEID is _______."

The deadline is Wednesday April 11th at 11:59pm.

3. Attend another club's session and email ALPES:

If you received risk management training through another student organization, then email utaldpes@gmail.com with the following: the organization you trained with, your name, UTEID, whether you are in ALD/PES/both, and if you are a new/old member.

Also, include this statement: " I would like to confirm that I have been trained in Risk Management and reviewed the handouts required as part of the risk management training required for members of our student organization."

Once again, the email is due by...
