Highlights from McCombs Admissions Council Speakers:

  • Speakers: Ryan Brown and Dan Sales
  • 30% of those who applied to McCombs got interviews; 25% of those interviewed got accepted
  • Expect a heavier workload with a faster pace (example: covering a chapter a day) and more team-oriented work
  • The students' average work experience of 4-5 years
  • Tips: The council looks for how well you fit into the school. Candidate evaluations are holistically done, based on a combination of attributes such as work experience, undergraduate accomplishments and GMAT scores. Recommended that you take the GMAT right after you complete your undergraduate degree. (GMAT scores are good for 5 years afterwards.)
