Travel InformationAustin is most readily accessible by car, bus, or plane. Those flying should plan to fly into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.For the first time, we are happy to have been able to arrange for hotel rooms at two Austin hotels at special conference rates. If you plan on staying in one of the conference hotels, please make your reservations early; rooms are limited and will only be available until the registration deadline. Rooms at either hotel will be $85 nightly, but you must register by the deadline, and you must mention the Department of American Studies when making your reservation.
