We're at National Outdoor Collegiate Nationals (NOCC) (for old timers, aka USIAC) We'll post a link to live results as soon as we get one.
Also we'll be blogging our adventures at https://utarchery.wordpress.com.
The UT Archery club competes nationally under the rules of the United States Archery Association (USAA) College Division. The club is open to recurve bows, and compound bows less than 60 lbs.
We meet every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Anna Hiss Gymnasium. The archery range is in the basement on the north side of the building. In the Spring we also set up practice times at the outdoor archery range at Whitaker Fields
You are eligible to be a club member if you are a current UT student, or are a faculty/staff member with a RecSports membership. Club membership dues are $50 per semester or $75 per year. No experience required. We have access to equipment that can be used by beginning archers. We only accept beginning archers through the 3th week of the Fall and Spring semesters. This is so we have time to focus on training new archers without having a steady stream of beginners coming in.
We can not invite non-club members to shoot with us. It would be a violation of University rules. We maintain all the archery facilities, so unless you are a part of the club you can not use our facilities. Please see our Links page for local archery ranges and training. As much as we'd like to invite the local archery community to shoot with us, we simply can not.
If you are an experienced archer, please come by and visit.
