Where else but Texas can you practice outdoors in November? The weather
wasn't perfect, but it was good enough to shoot. We had several beginners
out shooting for the first time and two visiting Aggies. Didn't get pics
of everyone, but here are a few. Take note of the angle at which Thienan
is shooting a 23# bow at 90 meters. While he had a few misses, he also
had some hits.

Group shot. |

Why is an Aggie archer wearing a Longhorn tank top?!
|

Man! that target looks small!
|

Thienan is shooting a 23# school bow and hand-me-down carbon arrows.
Check out the angle; he must be shooting 90 meters! |

Thienan did mange to get quite a few shoots on target despite having
to aim at the clouds. |

Yea, we need to get Thienan a heavier bow. |

For those that don't know that white speck in the background is
a 4 foot wide target. |

Eric, shooting 90 meters. |

Eric again. Looks like he is about fall backward!
|

Nathan shooting 90 meters.
|

Look carefully. Nathan had to turn the sight around so that it's
between him and the bow, instead of in front of the bow. Yea,
he wants his own bow with 40# limbs. |
Shooters shown are Eric, Thienan, Mike M., and Nathan.
There were other shooters out there, but we brought the camera
out a little late. Not shown are John, his Aggie friend Elliot,
and Ronald.
