Disabled Archery Demo Feb. 26, 2005

Limitations quite often are only in our minds.

Wheelchair archer
This lady has limited use of her left arm and could not hold the bow or pull the string. So we improvised a mouth piece for her.

She quickly learned the secret to archery, consistency. Once she learned to put the mouth piece in the same spot each time, she became very accurate.

Two kids with cerebral palsy learning to shoot
We learned that we should have stools for shooters. Next time we'll be ready and won't need the clumsy classroom desk.
