How do I know I’m a Second-Semester Pledge?
If you joined BBB in the previous semester, but did not complete your requirements in time, you’re a Second-Semester Pledge. We’re still rootin’ for you to get your requirements done—you can do it!

How do I become an Active?
To become an Active before next semester, you need to do the Pledge requirements that you didn’t finish last semester PLUS what an Active would normally do. As far as meetings go, since you are still pledging, even if you got all 5 last semester, you need to attend 5 this semester. On the spreadsheets, you will have two rows. The top one reminds you what you did last semester, the bottom one is what you’re doing this semester. When you total your rows, you need to have:

Attend:

+Paid your dues (if you didn’t last semester)

+5 out of 7 Meetings THIS semester

+3 Fundraisers

+2 Volunteer Events

+2 Socials

+2 Events of your choosing (Fundraisers, Volunteer Events, Socials, and Freebies count)

What if I STILL don’t finish my requirements?
If you had difficult circumstances that prevented you from finishing, email the president describing those circumstances and we may be able to make an exception for you. If you just didn’t get around to finishing for no special reason, you become the rare case of a Third-Semester Pledge. Next semester is your last chance to finish pledging. You will continue to sign in on the Second-Semester Pledge sign-in sheets, and you remain on the Second-Semester Pledge spreadsheet. There will be a star by your name, indicating that you need to do what is normally expected of a Second-Semester Pledge, plus two extra events.
