Q: Do I need to have finished Genetics before I can pledge?

A: Yes all pledges need to have finished BIO 325 (Genetics) prior to joining the club.

Q: How do I sign up for the forum?

Q: I've lost my pledge packet. Where can I find the membership requirements?

A: Check the Members Tab. Requirements for actives, 2nd semester pledge, and pledges should be listed there. Email the secretary if you have any questions.

Q: What sort of posts count towards the post requirement?

A: You can post about anything! Just complete three forum posts and email the webmaster to verify your posts.

Q: What is the forum used for?

A: It is a message board that can be used by members of TriBeta. Users will need to sign up for a forum account to be able to use this resource. You can post anything you like that is relevant to the section. The forum is in its infancy right now and only a few people use it but this is an excellent tool for communication over the internet. We are thinking of designing a contest to award the person who has the highest post count at the end of the semester.

Problems accessing members status

We are aware that some people are having trouble accessing the members status page. For the technically savvy members, the problem is an issue with a cookie that is required to access the page. This is due a problem on the Google website. Google knows that the problem exists on their end and they are fixing it.

Solution:

Visit "www.google.com/ig" before coming back to the TriBeta Website and accessing the members status page. Visiting iGoogle installs a cookie on your computer that enables access to Google spreadsheets, where the members status page is located. Sorry for the inconvenience.
