Joint meeting with BMEp this week! This week we welcome Dr. Felice Shieh who graduated with her PhD in Chemical Engineering, specifically nanobiotechnology, from The University of Texas at Austin. Her background is primarily in nanomaterials synthesis and characterization and applications in cancer metastasis imaging and tracking. She started as a research scientist at Luminex in the Department of Biology Research and Development building a new program to integrate nanotechnology therapeutics with existing Luminex multiplexed diagnostics. She has since then transitioned from the lab into the Sales and Marketing department to promote awareness of Luminex technology applications throughout the scientific community.
