Survivorship

Survivors

Who is a survivor? Anyone who has heard the words "You have cancer" is a survivor. Whether they have beaten the disease or are still fighting, they are surviving each day. CAC works to provide support and outreach programs to survivors on and off campus. We honor and support survivors whenever we can.

Are you a survivor?

If you are a survivor, we greatly appreciate it if you would let us know. We have a number of survivor-oriented events each year, including a survivor banquet at Relay for Life. We would eventually like to hold a Survivor Week on campus, so that we can honor all of UT's survivors all week.

What can I do to help survivors?

We will be collecting blankets during tabling from October 13th till November 20th. The blankets that are collected will be dontated to local hospitals for use by cancer patients. We will post the dates, times and locations for our tabling by October 13th. Donate a blanket and help warm the heart of a local cancer patient. Every little bit helps!
