Many times at a large college campus such as UT, it is difficult to connect with people outside of your major and/or outside of your typical group of friends. Intramural sports play the role of allowing Christians and Non-Christians to interact in a new environment, the sports field. Here teams are randomly created and placed under the leadership of an experienced manager. Throughout the season the team will learn about each other and about themselves as they go through practices and games together as a team. While not every team wins an IM champion shirt, every person walks away with new friendships that will continue to build even after the last game of the season. The purpose of our ministry is to create lasting relationships between players, and allow our love for Jesus Christ shine through our actions on and off the field.
