Come and See
Our theme this year is "come and see: becoming a witness."

When Jesus walked the earth, many people were curious to find out who he was and what he was about. Jesus often gave this response: "come and see." As we walk the journey of learning what it means to follow Jesus and being transformed by it, we are also witnessing and testifying to what we see. We hope that we in turn can speak the words "come and see" to those around us who have questions about Jesus and what role he plays in our lives and in our very identities.

We invite you to join us. We invite you to come and see.

John 1:35-46
The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, "Look, the Lamb of God!"

When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, "What do you want?"

They said, "Rabbi" (which means Teacher), "where are you staying?"

"Come," he replied, "and you will see."

So they went and saw where he was staying, and spent that day with him. It was about the tenth hour.

Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. Read more >>
