What is Campus Fusion?

Campus Fusion is the culmination of the “Week of Dialogue,” a collaborative vision built by the Multicultural Information Center and Student Government at The University of Texas at Austin. Through different programs during the “Week of Dialogue,” we recognize the importance of talking about diversity issues, and we end the week with a celebration of the variety of cultures and ethnicities present on this campus.

Kevin Powell, noted cast member of MTV's "The Real World," public speaker, activist, poet, journalist, hip hop historian, and author is hailed as one of the most important voices of his generation.

Why should your organization be a part of Campus Fusion?

In order to truly reflect the diversity of communities which exist at UT, we need your organization to participate. Campus Fusion seeks to target the entire student body and the Austin Community. Campus Fusion will also serve as a great opportunity to invite prospective students and businesses to campus. If your organization chooses to get involved with Campus Fusion, they will become an integral part of promoting diversity and greater cultural tolerance on the UT Campus.
