Now serving the Jewish youth of Central Texas, Camp Gan Israel is part
of the largest and fastest growing Jewish Day Camps in the world. Our camp
enjoys a well-earned reputation as a trendsetter with innovative ideas,
creative programs, and new activities being introduced continuously. From
our youngest camper to our senior division, children enjoy a wide range of
activties and field trips in a warm and caring environment.
All campers at Gan Israel are divided into age groups for individual attention
and supervision. The children of each group work together as a team and learn the
value of friendship and unity.
Our counselors are chosen from across the United States for their warmth
and ability to understand and care for each child. As a postive role model
for your child, they'll help cultivate friendships that last forever. Their
love for the children is perhaps only surpassed by the childrens' live for
them.
camp environment and activities
- Comedy skits, plays, talent shows, and camp productions which challenge
the children to develop their innate talents.
- Swimming thrice weekly under Red Cross-certified lifeguards
- Two fields trips every week to feature locations throughout Central Texas
- A full sports program, science and magic courses, and hands-on guest presentations
- Dedicated arts and crafts counselors and a complete arts program for all ages
- Special events for the whole family throughout the camp, and special late-night programs
for older campers.

Probably the most important reason for sending your child to camp this summer: Gan Israel
campers are imbued with a deep sense of pride in their Jewish heritage and love for the
Land of Israel. Exciting stories, games, crafts, contests and activities such as Challah
braiding, Jewish songs and Israeli dancing are an integral part of the unique Gan Israel
experience. Combined with group discussions, this brings to life the beauty and values of
Jewish tradition before the campers eyes'.
eligibility and costs
Running for three weeks this autumn, children can attend Camp Gan Israel for one or all three
weeks. One week is $150 per child, with all three weeks $400. We offer a 10% discount for each
additional child attending. The camp is open to both boys and girls ages two through ten years.
