chabad student outreach FOR OUR UP-TO-DATE CHABAD AT UT WEB SITE- GO TO CHABADUT.COM Chabad House provides a home away from home for the Jewish students at UT or any university in the area. Our doors are always open. Members of the Chabad Jewish Student Organization can be found on the West Mall ready and willing to answer a question. Students stopping by to schmooz, might also nab a Hamantashen, an apple in honey, a calendar, a menorah, a Shabbat candle or a flyer on our next speaker or Shabbaton, or just to feel the pulse of Jewish life on campus. And on campus we remind them of our rich heritage by erecting a Sukkah, a Chanukah menorah, and "A" frames. In addition, we do our programs at the student's dorm rooms and we cosponsor activities with the Jewish frats and sororities as well as with other Jewish organization on campus.
