Shabbat for 1000 students!!!!!

University students from throughout the greater Austin area are invited to attend the Seventh Annual Shabbat 1000
Friday, February 2, at the UT Texas Union Ballroom. This is a cultural program run by students for students where everyone can experience a traditional Friday night Shabbat. The goal is to give the student body an opportunity to learn more about Jewish culture and unite the campus for a special evening. A free kosher dinner will be served. Services will begin for Jewish students at 6:15PM followed by the meal at 7:15PM.

This event is brought to you with the help of the University of Texas Student Union, Chabad Jewish Student Organization, Texas Hillel Foundation. and all the Jewish campus organizations, and is supported by individual donors as well as area cultural foundations.

For more information, please contact Felice Schimmel or call Chabad House directly.
