I will declare the decree; the L-rd has said to me, you are my son, this day I have begotten you . . .kiss the 'son', lest he be angry and perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all who put their trust in him.(Ps. 2 quot in Acts 5:25, 13:33; Heb 1:5, 5:5; II Pr 2:17) Christian use this Psalm to prove that G-d has a son(HV)

1)The phrase begotten does not mean give birth in a physical way see (Dt 32:18)"You neglected the Rock that begot you"

2)Did J.c rule over the Romans? For it states in verse 8 that "I will make the Nations your domain; your estate , the limits of the earth." J.c did not even rule the Jews more less the Romans.

3)If J.c is the son of G-d (HV) mention above in "the L-rd has said to me, you are my son", and equal to Him, then why did G-d need to tell himself, who he was. If G-d is omniscient, He would already know this.

4)The verse is speaking of David for he was called the son of G-d(Ps 89:20, 27-28),(II Sam 7:14)

5)King of a land stand up and Noble counsel together against the L-rd and against His anointed(Ps 2:2) this can be explained by II Sam 5:17 "And the Philistines heard that they had anointed David a king over Israel, and all the Philistines went to seek . . ."

6)The Hebrew word ( bar ) does not mean son it means purity.

(Ps 24:4)"He who has clean hands and a pure( bar ) heart."

(Ps 73:1)"G-d is truly good to Israel, to those whose heart is pure( bar)."

(Ps 19:9)"The precepts of G-d, are upright, rejoicing is heart; the commandments of G-d are pure( bar ).

3Out of the mouths of babes and suckilings You have established strength, . . . 6You have made him for a little while lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor, and put all things under his feet.( Ps 8:3 id. in Mt 21:15-16; 8:6 quot in Heb 2:9 & Id. in Jn 1:14, Ph 2:5-8) Christians use this to prove that G-d would incarnate Himself(HV) into a man.

1)The Torah is not a complitely mysterious book. It is applicable to everyday live and understood in some way by even little children. This is also seen in (Dt. 30 11-14) "It is not too mysterious and remote for you. It is not up in heaven, that you should say, " who will go up into heaven to get it. . . "(Hirsch)

2)It also has another meaning in that G-d plane for the universe is seen in the seemingly simple act of nursing. But it is amazing the baby knows how and where to feed from and even more amazing is that the woman is perfectly designed to do it.(Radak)

3)This is an obvious translation error on the part of N.t. The verse could be better translated as "Yet You have made him only a little less than the angels . . ."

4)Who is the him? The answer is found in the previous verse where it says "What is the frail human that you should remebber him? And what is the son of mortal man that You should be mindful of him?"

5) If this is a prophecy of J.c it does not make any sense to call him "son of man" for he was not son of any man only son of a woman as they claim.

6)This verse is telling that G-d "crowned him(Humans) with a soul" which gives him intellect and makes him the closes thing on earth to angels. The only difference between the two is that the soul of man is stuck in a body.(Radak)

7)This idea becomes clear with a comparison between v7-10 "You placed everything under his feet. Sheep and cattle, everything , even the beasts of the open field . . . " and Gen 1:28 ". . . Have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and all living things that move on the earth."

I have set the L-rd ever before me, with Him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed. My heart has been glad and my tongue has rejoiced, my body will live on in hope, for you will not abandon my soul to the neither world, nor will you suffer your faithful one to undergo corruption.(Ps 16:8-10 quot in Act 2:25-28,13:35) Christians claim that J.c is the only person whose body did not decay and thus fulfilled this prophecy.

1) If the part of the trinity are equal as Christians claim. in Heb 1:8 "Your divine throne is everlasting; your royal scepter is a scepter of equity."(Ps 45:7 ) Then how could the speaker be J.c for the speaker says v. 2"You are my Master". Surely a myster implies someone subservent to him.

2)Did J.c have sexual desires for it says in verse seven "I will bless the L-rd who has given me counsel, also for the nights in which my passion instructed me."(also see Ps. 7:10)

3)The Pslam even warns the reader not to follow another god in v.4 "may their sorrows multiply, those who hurry after another;" and that v.5"Hashem is my alloted portion and my share."

4)David has told us why he was happy all his live now he tells us that he will be happy in death because even though his body will go to the grave, his sould will go up.(I.E)

5)If this prophesy was referring to J.c, i.e G-d(HV),then why would G-d need to reveal to himself the path of life(v. 11), should he nt already know it , it being that he is G-d(HV).

Indeed, many dogs surround me, a pack of evil doers closes in upon me. They have "pierced" my hands and my feet.(Ps 22:17 quot in Mt 27:35,39,46; Jn 19:24,28; Mk 15:24) Christian claim that this is a prophecy of the crucifixion.

1)Unfortunately this is not what the Hebrew says. The word used in Hebrew is (yra) which means lions. Thus the correct translation is "For dogs have surrounded me, a company of evil doers have enclosed me; as a lion at my hands and feet." In the same Psalm verse 22&14(yra ) means lion as well as every other place in the Bible.

2)If J.c was sinless it is not possible that this prophecy is about him for it says in verse seven "But I am a worm, less than human, scorned by men, despised by people.

Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you have prepared for me; Holocausts and sin offerings you took no delight in. Then I said , ' As is written of me in the book, I have come to do your will, O G-d.(Heb 10:5-7 quot. similar to Ps 40:7) Christians claim that G-d does not want sacrifices.

1) If it is true as Christians claim that G-d does not like sacrifices then why do they also claim that He sent his son(HV) to be the ultimate sacrifice.

2) The Chrisian idea makes no sense, for G-d to command something that He does not want. G-d would rather people be righteous and not need the sacrifices.

3)G-d was very concerned that Jews might think like the other nations who believe that their gods need the sacrifice or they will starve to death. G-d is telling the Jews that the sacrifice are not for G-d but are for man.

He said to Me you are my father, my G-d the rock of my deliverance. I will appoint him first born, highest of the kings of the earth.(Ps 89:8 quot in Th 1:10; 27-28; Col. 2:11; Id. in Mt 3:17; Jn 3:16 ) Christians use this to prove that the Messiah will be the son of G-d(HV)

1)If this is speaking of J.c, then why did he not have a child as in v.30 "I shall make his seed endure" and v.31 "if his son will one day forsake my teachings"

I will expound a theme, hold forth on the lesson of the past, things we have heard and know, that our fathers have told us.(A psalm of David. The words of G-d to my "lord". Wait at my right until I make your enemies a stool for your feet. The staff of your strength, G-d will send from Zion, rule in the midst of your enemies.(Ps 110:1-3 quot in Mk 12:36; Heb 1:3,13, 5:6,7:21) Christians claim this proves that G-d will talk to his son who is also a G-d(HV)

1)The word used is ( yndal) which does not mean G-d, but master. See card #

2)The famous commentator Rashi says that this master is Avraham

3)"You are a priest forever Melchizedek by my decree. The L-rd is at your right hand. He crushes kings in the day of His anger. This can me explained by comparing this psalm with (Gen 14:18-20)" "He was a priest of G-d, the most high, maker of heavens and earth. He blessed him saying 'blessed is Avram of G-d the most high who delivered your foes . . " There is a clear similarity between these to passages.

4)It says in verse 4 "You are a priest forever, after the manner of Melchizedek" If Ps 110 is referring to J.c then he could not fulfill this for it is forbidden to be a priest and a king at the same time. The priest is probably Avraham for the only time Melchizedek is mention is when he speaks to Avraham,.

5)Verse 5 says "The L-rd is at your right hand , He shattered kings on the day of His wrath." This parallels Gen 14:18&15 "Now King Amraphel of Shinar, King Arioch of Ellasar, King Chedorlaomer of Eklam, and King Tidal of Goiim made war on . . . at night he and his servants deployed against them and defeated them;"

6) This is not so strange look at

(Is. 63:12)"Who made His glorious arm march at the right hand of Moses, Who divided the waters before them."

(Ps. 118:14-18)"The L-rd is my strength and might; He has become my deliverance. . . The right hand of the L-rd is triumphant! The right hand of the L-rd is exalted!"

(Ps 18:36) "You have given me a shield of your protection; your right hand has sustained me, Your care is great"

(Ps 16:8)"For I shall be moved no more from Him, who is my right hand"

Many times in history G-d has help people and the expression by G-d's side is used.
