All events listed below will
be held at Chabad House, downtown
Austin, unless otherwise
indicated. Please contact Chabad
of Austin directly should you
have any questions about this
year's Purim programming, or if
you can assist in covering
costs.
Thursday, March 24
- 6:00PM: Mincha
including machazit hashekel
(coins should be
available)
- 7:15PM: Maariv
during which multimedia
reading of the Megillah will
be held. Chabad Purim party
featuring live music and a
brief break-fast follows the
minyan.
Friday, March 25
The mitzvah to hear the Megillah
read on Purim applies to both the
evening and the day of Purim.
Chabad of Austin is planning many
readings to fit into your
schedule.
- 7:30AM: Special
Megillah reading in the
HEB Kosher Store on Far
West Blvd.
- 8:00AM: Shacharit
and Megillah reading followed
by exchange of mishloach
manot
- 11:00AM: Program
for area families, children
and singles. Megillah reading
should begin sometime around
noon. Please see our
