Every two weeks (unless otherwise noted), CSA holds a general meeting (usually abbreviated as GM.) GMs are an opportunity to see your family during the week and hear news about what's going on in CSA.
At every GM, CSA provides some kind of activity to do, usually an icebreaker game to get to know each other better or a cultural activity to expose people to the Chinese culture. We've even served tang yuan (a Chinese dish) at a meeting before and let members help make some themselves!
Activities are usually "family-oriented", meaning they're meant to be competitions amongst the CSA families. So, as a member of CSA, it's important to attend meetings to help your family earn points! Even if you don't win the game, you can earn points for your family just for attending meetings! Sometimes we even go out to eat after meetings since they're held in the evening.
CSA meetings are held every other Tuesday at 7pm. The location varies depending on the semester.
