History

The Caribbean islands were the first lands that Christopher Columbus discovered. Here we talk about what the islands have become. You will discover unique facts about each major island. You can either click on section of the map. Or you can just click on the text links that are on the left side of the map. We had to create the small islands section as there is not enough space on the map to display them. The small islands are composed of: Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, St. Kitts-Nevis, Saint Martin and St. Vincent and Grenadines.

Material on these countries is © Microsoft Encarta.
