Subscribe/Unsubscribe to the CSSA mailing list

Dear Colleagues,

CSSA has stopped using the old email list utcssa@lists.cc.utexas.edu since Feb 29 2008.

CSSA is pleased to announce a new mailing list service, UT Lists.
UT Lists offers the following improvements over the existing Listproc-based service:

* An easy-to-use Web-based interface
* No more managing lists using e-mails with cryptic commands
* Worldwide active support and development community

To subscribe, just click the hyperlink above and fill in your E-mail address, then "SUBMIT". You will receive an email from the address of sympa-request@utlists.utexas.edu. A password is delivered in the email to activate the subscription.

Attention Please: If you do not get the confirmation email from us after you have subscribed it, please check your Junk mail box. This often happens to the users with an email from @yahoo.com or @hotmail.com. Once you add our sending address to non junk mail sender list, you can receive our emails as usual.

• The CSSA UT List is officially used to publish CSSA events and weekly news letter ONLY.
• We strongly encourage you to use the one you will check most frequently.
• If your e-mail account is invalid or your mailbox is full, you will be unsubscribed.
• You are not allowed to send emails to the list. Instead you should post your message to the web forum and we will send weekly news letter to all subscribers.

For those of you who can not recognize Chinese, please download the guide for non Chinese users so that you can register and post by yourself even if you computer can not decode Chinese. Or you may send the message to utcssa1982@gmail.com, we will help you to post your message into our Web Forum.

尊敬的广大德州大学奥斯汀分校电子邮件列表用户：

自零八年二月二十九日起，德州大学奥斯汀分校学生学者联谊会已停止使用古老的utcssa@lists.cc.utexas.edu电子列表系统。

我们高兴地宣布，联谊会现采用更为先进的UTList系统来保证电子邮件的安全和时效性。新系统提供用户基于网页的管理界面。用户可以在UT网站上实现订阅和管理功能。

我们强烈建议大家使用自己最常用的电子邮件地址注册。注册以后您将收到包含激活码的来自sympa-request@utlists.utexas.edu的信件。您需要将信件中的密码填写到订阅网页上激活订阅。

联谊会邮件系统为CSSA官方信息发布途径。我们将通过这个邮件系统发布联谊会举办的所有活动信息。我们每周还将CSSA论坛中的新闻摘要通过这个邮件系统发送给所有用户。

邮件订阅人不可以直接发送Email给所有用户。用户需将信息张贴在论坛的相关版面内。用户收到的所有Email都将是CSSA认证信息。　

请注意：如果您订阅mailing list后没有收到确认信，请检查是否被过滤到杂件箱。尤其是@yahoo.com和@hotmail.com的邮箱用户要特别注意。当你把我们的发信地址确认为非垃圾邮件发出地址后，就可以正常接收我们发出的邮件。
