A heartfelt goodbye to Renato and Dorothea who followed stronger calls - for a while. Both are considering to come back next fall for Ph.D. studies. All our fingers are crossed for you guys!
This is not to prove that Colin Powell made it to page 1 of the December 20 issue of the NYT but to prove that beautiful lilys bloom at that day in our front yard.

This is the cook book Chuck Schmidt used to use to cook for the German Housers
in the late 1960s, early 1970s. Chuck is the founder of the German House and was
