the first thing which had to disappear and to make room for something new, was the lawn! We turned it upside down and aired it out. Now, a couple weeks later, we can see the first fresh green tips. |
In case you cannot recognize this room in the house: it is the downstairs sun room. We decided that the wall in front of the entrance does not really make sense; as well as carpeting. We broke down the wall and ripped out the ceiling.

Does anyone recognize our downstairs hallway? We first tried to clean up the walls by simply scrubbing them. After a hopeless while, we decided that this hallway needed a new touch of white. The door on the right is the door of room 2, opposite the bathroom.

We did not condemn our tradition to go to Trudy's at the end of this day of hard work. A cool Mexican Martini and some very yummy Tex-Mex food is always enticing. |

It has been about time to have the first big BBQ at the house: More burgers than you can eat, or well as some can't eat, but other even more... |

This month, two members of the house, Marianna and Daniel, took part in the German play ("Ein Besserer Herr") organized through the German department, which was watched by almost every German houser.
