| While Texas may have been the finest portion of the globe that ever blessed Sam Houston's vision, German Housers took advantage of the long break over the winter holidays to venture forth and explore other lands. | ||
| Some made a triumphant homecoming. | ||
    |
||
| Others visited old friends in faraway lands. | ||
   |
||
Still others rekindled long-distance flames. |
||
   |
||
| A few sought new flames of their own. | ||
   |
||
| But in the end all returned to the house, to live once again under the crown and scepter of Queen Molly. | ||

||
| Actually, sadly enough, not everyone was to return for the spring semester. Five brave souls chose to venture forth from the German House and seek their fortunes in the wider world. Good luck to you all! | ||
