SEPTEMBER 2006

A little reminder that we're still kids at heart...

Twenty something German Houser's: David, Bjorn, Aline, Emily, Jakub, and El gathered together on a Saturday night to play laser tag and eat pizza.

Some of us still play video games. David, Bjorn, Nabeel and Marco prepare for the ultimate soccer tournament.

The smell of baked goods in the middle of the night brings everyone down to the kitchen.  Emily, Hilda, Mariana, Leo, and Margo enjoy Leo's Brazilian cupcakes.

All our members have finally been voted in and we have a full house for the new school year.

Eleonor and Ty dance in the dinning room.

German house members and their friends enjoy an Austin tradition: live music at Blues on the Green.

Beauty found a beautiful new Finnish friend to pet her.

Our dear Muhammad has gone back to Syria.  We miss you and hope to see you back some day.

Esther and Cecile took Kerstin and Muhammad on one last American shopping trip to the outlet mall, and then they took this very well composed shot.

For one night German House was transformed into Mexico House to celebrate Diez-y-Seiz de Septiembre (Mexican Independence Day) and Alvaro and Muhammad's Birthdays.

Alvaro pulled out the Sponge Bob square pants hats for his party.

Marco, Nabeel, Alvaro, Muhammad, and Margo pose for a picture.

Not a kid anymore.  Bharad graduated with his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering.  He has left German House to seek his fame and fortune in Dallas where he will work for Pepsi.  Bye Bharad, we'll miss that stunning smile and laugh of yours.

Cecile's friend Daniel, from France, visited for one month.  He took a lot of pictures of cars, went to South Padre Island and Louisiana, took a picture with every single house member, and bought this Cowboy outfit.

David is mad at Bjorn.  We're not sure why, but we've decided to formulate causes and spread a rumor.  Was it that unfortunate loss in laser tag?

One of the last times we went to Barton Springs with all of our summer guests.  Farewell Summer '06, we can't wait for it to be a little cooler.
