A little bit of thanks...

For those of us who couldn't make it home for Thanksgiving Day we had a wonderful dinner at German House .  El convinced us to take advantage of the beautiful day and eat outside.  Here Chris and Mark give thanks for the most meat they have had at any German House meal.

Ali and Taesun pose.  Not all our cooking ventures were successful, after several bottles of wine and soaking up the sun all afternoon, we completely forgot the pie in the oven.

After two months of studying, Bjorn decided it was time to get out and be one with nature.  He invited everyone to go camping to Lake Travis with his geography group.

Some members took advantage of the Thanksgiving holiday to visit family or travel the United States.  Aline took a trip to Louisiana to visit her dad.

Leo traveled to Lake Tahoe to see snow for the first time in his life.

And the rest of us did some sight seeing around beautiful hill country, Texas.

German House environmentalists, David, El and Aline, gave a little thanks to Mother Earth and planted a tree.

And when we all came back, we gave thanks for all our wonderful housemates, pool, darts, and the local bar.
