In April, we celebrated the birthdays of Ali, Gökche, and Minna. Some pictures from the event:

At this party, we also celebrated the memory of Leonardo Lima. For his trip across the Styx with Charon, we gave him two dollars. Inflation rates in Hades' realm have not yet caught up with the real world.

Not really. He is now happily back in Brazil with family and friends. We at the German House will be eternally grateful to him for introducing us to farofa and beans so amazing that even Trimalchio would have risen from his grave.

On Saturday, April 7, we had our seminnual cleanup day. Unfortunately for us, it also happened to be a day that set record temperature lows for April, which resulted in everyone retreating indoors.
