Possibly what may be the biggest German House news item of the year: Beauty, perennial casette deck cover, doorstop, and paperweight, had to undergo surgery for what might have been a tumor in her mouth (still not sure what it is):
In the process of registering her at the vet, she was christened with a last name:

Yup, she is now Beauty Rey, Cecile Rey's adopted daughter. And after a fourteen day regimen of antibiotics, she is doing perfectly fine now, thank you.
Sophia spends some time in the Big Apple (God, I love New York):
She also displays an alarming propensity to lie down wherever she goes:
The hops in the backyard, to be slaughtered for future brews of beer, sprouts:

This month, we bid farewell to Ali, three-year member and fire master. Best of luck to you in the petrochemical industry. Just don't burn down any refineries:

Izabela, another one year sojourner and the last of the Brazilians, heads back after six months of studying English and a lot of dancing:
