Possibly what may be the biggest German House news item of the year: Beauty, perennial casette deck cover, doorstop, and paperweight, had to undergo surgery for what might have been a tumor in her mouth (still not sure what it is):

In the process of registering her at the vet, she was christened with a last name:

Yup, she is now Beauty Rey, Cecile Rey's adopted daughter. And after a fourteen day regimen of antibiotics, she is doing perfectly fine now, thank you.

Sophia spends some time in the Big Apple (God, I love New York):

This month, we bid farewell to Ali, three-year member and fire master. Best of luck to you in the petrochemical industry. Just don't burn down any refineries:

Mr. Mark, the dude from down under, and another master of petrochemicals, leaves after a year and a ton of research:

Izabela, another one year sojourner and the last of the Brazilians, heads back after six months of studying English and a lot of dancing:

And Simon goes back to Germany after his one year exchange program (some of these pictures are so juicy that I encourage you to come up with your own captions):

And last but not least, Margot, avid reader of sci-fi and fantasy, heads back to France after one year to put that sci-fi and a degree in biology to good use:
