The Deutsches Haus (German House) is an international co-op located two blocks from the University of Texas at Austin, in the West Campus neighborhood. A co-op, or cooperative, is a student housing community where residents share household chores such as cooking, cleaning and gardening in order to simplify life while attending college. This spring, the German House has 25 members from 10 different countries. If you would like to find out more about the Deutsches Haus, our infosheet may answer many of your questions. You may also take a virtual tour through the house or gain a glimpse into house life.
