Editorial Policy

TPFLE  is devoted to the promotion of pedagogical and theoretical issues in the fields of Foreign/Second Language education, Teaching of English as a Foreign/Second Language, and Applied Linguistics related to language learning and teaching. Manuscripts submitted for publication undergo blind review by two reviewers selected from members of an editorial board. The editor has the right to make editorial changes in any manuscript accepted for publication.

Submission Guidelines

To be considered for publication, a manuscript must be typewritten according to APA style and format guidelines (see TESOL Quarterly) and be no more than 30 double-spaced pages in length (including references and appendices). It must be set in 12 point type with top and left margins of 1.5 inches and the remaining margins at 1 inch. Include an abstract of not more than 200 words under the title of the manuscript. A separate cover page should contain the title of the manuscript, the author’s name, mailing address, e-mail address, and phone number. The author’s name must not appear elsewhere in the text Authors must refer to their previous publications in the third person. Submit three paper copies of the manuscript to:

Additionally, upon acceptance of a manuscript, the author must submit the article electronically on a Macintosh diskette in Microsoft Word 5.0 or later.
