GBSA Hosts Abercrombie and Fitch 


"GLBTQ Business Students Association is hosting Abercrombie and Fitch for an information session and general meeting on Thursday, October 9th. It will take place from 5:30-6:30PM in GSB2.122.

Not only will the GBSA leadership team be discussing GBSA's upcoming semester, but Abercrombie and Fitch's human relations team will be in attendance to discuss diversity in the workplace. They will also be available to answer any questions you may have about recruiting, thier internship process, and opportunities in the garment industry.

Not only will food and drink will be provided, but there will be A&F models!



GBSA at the Out and Equal Summit 



GLBTQ Business Students Association has been invited to attend the 2008 Out and Equal Summit, taking place at the Austin Convention Center from September 10th through the 13th. The convention affords many oppotunities for students of any major, and will provide valuable insight into the contemporary corporate environment.

In addition to this, GBSA is hosting a panel and workshop at the summit entitled "Mind the Gap" which will cover generational issues within the GLBTQ professional community.

"GLBTQ Business Students Association is hosting Goldman Sachs for an information session and general meeting on Tuesday, Septermber 9th. It will take place from 6:00-7:00PM in CBA4.328.

Not only will the GBSA leadership team be discussing GBSA's upcoming semester, but Goldman Sachs' human relations team will be in attendance to discuss diversity in the workplace. They will also be available to answer any questions you may have about recruiting, thier internship process, and so forth.

GBSA's week-long event is not only full of great information sessions, but also interactive case interview workshops, hosted by Accenture, to help students improve thier resumes and interview skills in a diverse professional world.

If you are interested in signing up for a time slot to meet with an Accenture representative and improve upon your interview skills, please sign up on the GBSA interview time sheet on the door of the Frito, near the O's Cafe and Atrium on the 3rd floor of the business school.

In addition to this, sign up sheets for all other Unique Week events will be posted on the door of the Frito.

Google Information Session 

"GLBTQ Business Students Association is hosting Google for an information session on Monday, March 31. It will take place from 5:00-6:00PM in CBA4.358.

Not only will the GBSA leadership team be discussing Unique Week (GBSA’s week of events coming up in April), Google’s university relations team will be in attendance to discuss diversity in the workplace. They will also be available to answer any questions you may have about recruiting, Google’s internship process, and so forth.

Accenture Information Session 

"GLBTQ Business Students Association will be having its first information session on Tuesday, February 12. It will take place from 6:00-7:00PM in CBA4.350.

Not only will the founders of GBSA give a brief introduction to the organization and its aims, we are lucky enough to have Accenture's global head of diversity recruiting in attendance.

Accenture is sponsoring both the organization as well as the information session specifically, and there will be a presentation about diversity in recruiting made by Accenture representatives.
