Holi is a popular Hindu celebration of the spring season. It is often called the Festival of Colors because people spend the day throwing rang (colored powder) and water at each other. The significance of Holi is the triumph of good over evil and the victory of health over illness.

Enjoy this Holi FREE with Hindu Students Council! There will be lots of rang, water balloons, fun games and competitions, great music provided by a local DJ, and free food!

Holi represents the triumph of health over sickness because traditional rang contains herbs that are believed to keep away the fevers and colds that people catch during the spring season.
