Navratri, a major Hindu festival, is a tribute to female power and the triumph of good over evil. This celebration honors different forms of Hindu goddesses, such as Lakshmi, Durga, and Saraswati. Navratri culminates in dancing garba, raas, and bhangra. Come celebrate Navratri FREE with Hindu Students Council! There will be a fantastic DJ, great music, tasty food, and free T-shirts!

Goddess Durga is worshipped as a protector against demons, as well as an embodiment of female strength and energy, also known as shakti. Navratri is the day on which Durga is honored for her female power and her victories over evil.
