Noah's
Pudding
In rememberence of Prophet Noah's and believers' deliverance from
flood and as symbolic representation of unity, volunteers for IDSA
prepared a sweet dish called Noah's Pudding (Ashure). Of about 1300
servings that were prepared, and 1000 servings were distributed at
the UT campus, 300 servings were distributed at the University Catholic
Center after Easter Sermon. »

The bayram of sacrifice (Eid ul Adha) was celebrated on campus this

Lecture:
Science and Religion
Believers are facing several social and intellectual problems in the
modern world. The increase in the number of people who cannot afford
housing, the loosening of neighborhood relationships, drug usage and
other addictions are some of the social problems that we face. The
concept of "good and evil" and perceived conflicts between
"science and religion" are among the intellectual problems.
IDSA has invited Dr. Aslandogan, editorial board member of the Fountain
Magazine and Professor at UT-Arlington, to give a talk about Science
and Religion. »
