Exploring Faiths V: Baptism

Rev. David Kemerling from UT Baptist Student Ministry outlined principlesof the Baptist faith. Rev. Kemerling pointed out the importance of daily Bible reading and listening rather than talking. He noted that the sin starts by saying "buzz off" to God.

Rev. Kemerling also talked about the origin and history of the Baptist faith. The 1845 S. Baptist Convention and Paul's experiences in Anatolia where some of the highlights of the talk.

The Rev. answered questions in topics ranging from the meaning of life to the role of John the Baptist. He emphasized the notion of fellowship and explained how meeting with the fellow members of our community enriches our faith. He commented that different people complement each other in faith.
