Nishiyama Seminar, Dallas, 2006

In August '98, our group traveled up to Dallas for the AAKF Southwest Regional tournament. Students Mike Fields, Mona Guerrero, Nicolas Koreni, and Sensei Eric Dodson competed. Theresa and Yoshi also attended but only judged.

On April 29, 2000 JKA Austin hosted the Southwest Regional Tournament. Competitors from all over Texas came to the Ana Hiss Gymnasium on campus and competed with our students. Lou Antonov and Nicolas Koreni competed with the advanced men and Burton, Richard, and Elliot Miller all competed in the lower divisions.
