Libertarian Longhorns

Statement of Purpose:

As a campus organization at the University of Texas at Austin, the Libertarian Longhorns strive to meet the following goals:

1. Organize people, primarily those people affiliated with UT, with the common belief in a non-coercive government.

2. Introduce libertarian philosophy into the marketplace of ideas on campus and beyond.

3. Provide support to other libertarian movements and organizations on campus, in the community, state and nation.

4. Demonstrate to the University populace the harm government does when not properly limited; how government has stripped Americans of many of their rightful freedoms, often with disasterous consequences.
