Committee Chair Descriptions

Running for a committee chair is a great way to take an active role in LPPA and show leadership skills. Members can apply to a maxium of two chair positions.

Along with the descriptions, each committee chairperson must also be willing and able to handle other general responsiblities in aiding the other officers. Every committee chairpersons will need to attend officer meetings AND regular general meetings [Every Tuesday].

Social Chair:
-Works with the Historian
-Organizes and plans socials for LPPA.
-Decorates the Welch display case.
-Contributes to the scrapbook.

Volunteer Chair:
-Works with the Vice-President.
-Comes up with Volunteer ideas.
-Coordinates the Volunteering events.

Fundraising Chair:
-Works with the Treasurer.
-Comes up with fundraising ideas.
-Coordinates the fundraising events.
-Goes to ushering events.

Publicity Chair:
-Works with the Secretary.
-Promotes LPPA by creating and distributing flyers, posters, handouts, etc.
-Helps expose LPPA at campus wide events (Gone To Texas and Explore UT)

IntraMural Sports Chair:
-Works with the President.
-Organizes IntraMural teams to compete in RecSports
-Be at all games as a player, and/or coach
