DESCRIPTION
OF EXECUTIVE-OFFICER's DUTIES
President: (cannot
run if you had already applied to pharamcy school this year)
Runs all general and officer meetings, as well as
schedules the dates/times of each.
Registeres the organization each semester
Reserves meetings, rooms
Works with Arlyn on getting speakers for each meetings
Follows up with all other officers to make sure evertything
is done and runs smoothly
Must be able to respond to many emails
Must be organized and motivated
Vice President:
(cannot run if you had already applied to pharamcy school
this year)
In charge of planning volunteer events and the Mentor
Program
Is involved with letting members know of these events
Works with the coordinator of these events and attends them
Needs to be excited about these events in order for others
to want to get
involved.
Take place of President duties in his absences
Secretary:
Keep track of points for all members
Meeting Minutes and General Meeting agendas
Email reminders (Listserv)
Heads Publicity Committee (Hangs flyers before each general
meeting)
Update and work with the website and picture gallery(required)
Treasurer:
Keep financial records of all transactions in a notebook
and on excel
Collect dues and keep a running list of paid members on excel
Organize and coordinate ushering events
Organize fundraisers and scholarships
Needs to acquire banking skills and reimburses officers
Orders pizza for each meeting
Must be organized and motivated
Historian:
Takes pictures at LPPA events
Puts together scrapbook
Keeps bulletin board up to date
Plans social events, including end of the year social
Head of Scrapbook and Social Committee
ALL OFFICERS must attend
the officer meetings as well as the general meetings. In addition,
officers are expected to attend the majority of the events. These
include (but are not limited to) volunteer, fundraising, social and
IM events.
